The Mexican Episcopal Conference reaffirmed its commitment to create a new culture of prevention, care and response.In this line, many concrete actions have been carried out, among these, the publication of "Guidelines for the Procedure to be followed in Cases of Sexual Abuse of Minors by the Clergy" and a "Protocol for the Protection of Minors", as well asas numerous training workshops in the Religious Provinces and Dioceses of Mexico, and a programme for the revision and strengthening of the selection and formation process in the seminaries of the country.
