Today Pope Francis responded to the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report in the USA with a letter addressed to the entire Church. The letter expresses solidarity with the victims, a renunciation of clericalism, and a call to all to participate in a solution, first of all by fasting and prayer. "May the Holy Spirit grant us the grace of conversion and the interior anointing needed to express before these crimes of abuse our compunction and our resolve courageously to combat them."
