From Graduation to Action: Egyptian alumna delivered lecture for Coptic Catholics in Rome
Completing an academic program often marks the end of a significant journey - but for some students, it is only the beginning of a deeper commitment in the field. This is precisely the case for Shereen Louis, from Egypt, who successfully completed the Diploma Program on February 6 and has already begun putting her knowledge into practice.
During a recent stay in Rome, Shereen delivered a lecture for parents at a Coptic Catholic parish, focusing on non-violent parenting. Her talk emphasized the principles of positive parenting, offering practical guidance on how families can raise children in a nurturing and respectful environment without resorting to violence. By addressing parents directly, she contributed to raising awareness and equipping families with tools that foster healthier relationships and safer environments for children.
Although only a short time has passed since her graduation, Shereen has demonstrated remarkable initiative and dedication to child protection. Rather than waiting for opportunities to arise, she has actively engaged with communities, translating theory into meaningful action.
