Sr. Dr. Tresa K. JMJ is the General Councillor and Vicar of the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph, based in Rome. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (Counseling Psychology) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, with research on emotional intelligence in women survivors of child sexual abuse. Her work focuses on counseling psychology, gender and family studies, and the rights of women and children. Founder of Prajwala Counseling Centre, she has led empowerment and rehabilitation programs for women victims of violence. Former Provincial Superior (2018–2024), she is also an active lecturer and trainer in leadership, spirituality, and emotional growth.
