Patrick Goujon is an expert in the history of Jesuit spirituality. He is a professor at Facultés Loyola Paris and a senior research fellow at Campion Hall, University of Oxford. He is also the chief editor of the journal Recherches de Science Religieuse. He made public in a book the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of a priest during his childhood (Prière de ne pas abuser - 2021, translated into several languages). His current research focuses on the ways in which our bodies, memories and desires shape our spiritual lives.
