Maria Teresa Compte Grau. received a PhD in Political Science and Sociology. She has also received a Masters in Catholic Social Doctrine and a Masters in Criminal Mediation. She is also a university expert in counselling and in victims of crime and abuse of power. Maria Teresa has also conducted research into the sexual abuse of women by members of the clergy. She also serves as president of the Spanish Civil Association “Acogida Betania” for the comprehensive care of victims of sexual abuse in Catholic Church (www.acogidabetania.es).
