Harald Pechlaner is Professor and holds a chair of Tourism with a connected Center for Entrepreneurship at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany. Since October 2023 Harald Pechlaner is a founding chair of the School of Transformation and Sustainability of his University. Harald Pechlaner is Adjunct Research Professor at the School of Management and Marketing/Curtin Business School in Perth/Western Australia, President of the AIEST (Association Internationale d’Experts Scientifiques du Tourisme) and a Scientific Chair of the German National Competence Center for Tourism, a project of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Berlin.
