Frank Kraus was born in 1969. He studied philosophy, theology and business administration and has worked for various church institutions in Africa and Europe. He has served as head of the international department of Missio Aachen since 2009. In his role, he deals not only with the issue of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable persons, but all kinds of abuse of power, especially against women and women religious. He is a member of the case management team of Missio Aachen and a member of the Working Group of German Catholic Aid Organisations (MARMICK) for Safeguarding.
