Blended Learning
Over the last eight years, the Institute of Anthropology (IADC) has offered Blended e-Learning Programme educational units, which are available to ecclesiastical and non-ecclesiastical institutions that are interested in implementing a blended formation for child sexual abuse prevention. Due to their flexibility, these teaching units can be adapted to various formative needs.
For example, each institution may decide to offer training programs for professionals or pastoral agents, specific formation programs, or use the IADC's e-learning resources within specific academic courses.
In order to implement a collaborative educational course with the IADC, online units are combined with in-person class sessions which are then organized by the partner institution and led by a project manager chosen by the institution.
The IADC is continually developing its blended learning program for the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable persons.
An interdisciplinary team of international experts is involved in the development of this web-based education program that offers the knowledge required to professionally and adequately relate to victims of sexual abuse and their families and to act upon safeguarding and prevention.
The program is available in five languages, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish and it:
-
Develops multimedia and interactive content;
-
Creates multi-level learning materials in different languages;
