Universal Children's Day 2017

November 20th, 2017: the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989).

Aware of the responsibilities and social role of people - adult and children - the United Nations' proposal is to advocate, promote and celebrate children's rights by making the children of developed countries able to provide their support to their peers, who are unprotected and unschooled. Today, children can take over key roles in social media, business and sport to this end.
