
Uganda Book Tackles Children Sexual Abuse

"I have used the pain that I have endured all my life towards something positive and empower children to not have to go through the same things that I did," writes the author Lillian Butele Kelle.
The book entitled “The Bad Touch” written by a Ugandan sexual abuse survivor uses storytell-ing to illustrate how a mother educates her children regarding different forms of touching and how to resist and protect themselves from abuse. It focuses on teaching children how to recog-nize, reject and avoid exposure to sexual abuse.
