Sr. Damiana Kasoo, Fr. Calisto Nyagilo and Sr. Joyce Nyagusha recently leaded various seminars in Kenya about the safeguard of minors. They are graduates of the first edition of the Diploma course in Safeguarding of Minors: a one term qualification programme of the Centre for Child Protection from the Pontifical Gregorian University which educates international students as prevention experts to counteract sexual abuse of minors.
On the 24th of September, the three graduates organized a formation for 113 seminarians and 5 trainers at the St. Matthias Mulumba Major Seminary of Kenya.
On the 16th of August, Sr. Joyce Nyaghusa gave a seminar in safeguarding of minors for the sisters of her congregation: the Assumption Sisters of Eldoret.
